Colbert mocks Alex Jones custody fight

The Washington Times Daily - - POLITICS - — Douglas Ernst

“The Late Show” host Stephen Colbert decided to use a custody battle being waged for Alex Jones’ three children as fodder for jokes Monday night.

Mr. Colbert, who regularly talks about his Catholic faith, told his audience that he “feels” for the Infowars host, who is amid an acrimonious divorce from the mother of his three children, Kelly Jones.

But the comic parlayed his mock sympathy into jokes about a fictional Jones-like character named “Tuck Buck ford.”

“My blood is on fire! My blood is a volcano! It’s time to throw a virgin in there,” Mr. Colbert joked with an Infowars-inspired graphic for “Brain Fight” in the background. “I’m a skeleton wrapped in angry meat.”

Mr. Colbert joked that Mr. Jones’ shows make him seem like a “coked-out football coach in a police standoff” who should not have children.
