● 66 per­cent of Amer­i­cans have never do­nated to an en­vi­ron­men­tal char­ity.

● 49 per­cent are con­cerned that daily ac­tiv­i­ties like com­mut­ing or buy­ing gro­ceries will af­fect the en­vi­ron­ment; 45 per­cent are not con­cerned.

● 43 per­cent pre­fer gro­ceries in plas­tic bags; 33 per­cent pre­fer reusable bags, 21 per­cent pa­per bags.

● 41 per­cent will not par­tic­i­pate in Earth Day, which is Satur­day; 21 per­cent are un­de­cided about it.

● 15 per­cent will go on a na­ture walk, 14 per­cent to a park, 13 per­cent will gar­den, 8 per­cent will plant a tree, 7 per­cent vol­un­teer for a com­mu­nity clean-up.
