Unit / 8:00pm (4) It’s not a game as the members of a youth-hockey team are investigated by Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and her cohorts in “Great Expectations.” The young athletes become suspects in an aggressive hazing incident, and invariably, their parents also become deeply concerned about the probe. Modern Family / 9:00pm (7) As Valentine’s Day looms, Phil (Ty Burrell) turns to his alter ego — romantic rogue Clive Bixby — to put some sizzle back into what he fears is a faltering romance with wife Claire (Julie Bowen) in “Do You Believe in Magic.” Gloria (Sofia Vergara), meanwhile, is dismayed to notice Jay (Ed O’Neill) showing some parental favoritism as they address some issues with both Manny and Joe (Rico Rodriguez, Jeremy Maguire). Eric Stonestreet also stars. Designated Survivor / 10:00pm (7) “Northern Exposure” alum Rob Morrow — who’s also been doing a lot of directing lately — guest stars as a reporter whose return from the Middle East, with sensitive details on a certain story, concerns Seth (Kal Penn) in the new episode “The Ninth Seat.” President Kirkman (Kiefer Sutherland) tries to shore up an entirely new Supreme Court. Hannah (Maggie Q) puts herself in even more danger by going undercover as her probe of the conspiracy continues.
