Porter expects to play in Game 4
Otto Porter said he had a tingling feeling run down the left side of his neck and into his arm after being blindsided by a screen Saturday night in Game 3.
Porter left the game in the fourth quarter after colliding with Hawks guard Tim Hardaway Jr. The team described Porter’s injury as a “stinger” and expects him to be available for Game 4 on Monday night in Phillips Arena.
Porter said his neck went one way and his shoulder went another way when he ran into Hardaway, which “kind of pinched a nerve” in his shoulder.
“He feels much better, which is good news,” Wizards coach Scott Brooks said.
Porter said he was able to get multiple shots up Sunday during practice.
“Just trying to get back to normal,” Porter said.
