Biden to launch super PAC; Pence already has one up

The Washington Times Daily - - POLITICS - — Sally Persons

Former Vice President Joe Biden launched a new super PAC Thursday further fueling suspicion of his own presidential aspirations, according to multiple reports.

American Possibilities PAC will be “dedicated to electing people who believe that this country is about dreaming big, and supporting groups and causes that embody that spirit.”

But his wife, Jill Biden, said on CBS News that the launching of this PAC doesn’t mean a presidential run.

“You know Joe is not going away — I mean he loves politics, he loves what he’s doing, and he said he would stay involved. And so he set up this PAC because he’s going to be involved in the midterm elections.”

Vice President Mike Pence also launched a PAC a few weeks ago, making him the first sitting vice president to do so.

The Great America Committee plans to support candidates, including himself and President Trump in 2018 and 2020.
