Give Trump his due

The Washington Times Daily - - EDITORIAL -

For some time I have been concerned about Washington Times headline writers, who are giving me the impression of an unwarranted hostility toward President Trump. For example, the caption of a recent front-page picture of Mr. Trump says the president “goes it alone” concerning the Paris environmental agreement.

Mr. Trump did not go it alone. Rather, he made his decision with the consent and encouragement of over half the country, who elected him to do just that. This is in sharp contrast to other presidents and politicians who waffle as soon as they are in office, and I and many others would like to see him get his just acknowledgment.

I have always admired The Washington Times and have been a longtime letter writer. But I am getting a little disappointed.
