The Originals / 8:00pm (50) Klaus and Rebekah (Joseph Morgan, guest star Claire Holt) join Freya (Riley Voelkel) to find and destroy a totem that is helping to fuel The Hollow’s actions in the new episode “A Spirit Here That Won’t Be Broken.” They may not be in time, though, to prevent Kol (guest star Nathaniel Buzolic) from being used as a pawn by the enemy. Rebekah’s encounter with Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) forces both of them to deal with their current status with each orher.
Ginormous Food / 8:00pm (Food Net) 3:00am (Food Net) The new episode “Tucson: Biggest Orders on the Border” finds Josh Denny in the Arizona city, on a quest to find some of the most monumental meals in the Southwest. At Boca Tacos y Tequila, he tries the Titanic Taco Dog, a five-pound taco piled high with cactus salsa, pinto beans and bacon-wrapped hot dogs. The Burn Out, a six-pound burger served at Lindy’s on 4th, is topped with jalapenos and pepper Jack cheese, then smothered in chili.
Dark Matter / 8:00pm (Syfy) In the aftermath of the Season 2-ending destruction of the EOS 7 space station, the main characters find themselves separated as Season 3 opens with “Being Better Is So Much Harder.” Two and Six (Melissa O’Neil, Roger Cross) are adrift in space aboard a damaged shuttle, while Three (Anthony Lemke) is in custody on a nearby abandoned planet. Five and Truffault (Jodelle Ferland, Tori Higginson) are on a destroyer that’s targeted by their corporate rivals. Another new episode follows.
Reign / 9:00pm (50) A problematic birth threatens the lives of both Mary (Adelaide Kane) and the child she intends to bear in the new episode “Blood in the Water.” Elizabeth (Rachel Skarsten) is troubled to learn of the close proximity of someone responsible for the death of a person she loved.
