The Orig­i­nals / 8:00pm (50) Klaus and Re­bekah (Joseph Mor­gan, guest star Claire Holt) join Freya (Riley Voelkel) to find and de­stroy a totem that is help­ing to fuel The Hol­low’s ac­tions in the new episode “A Spirit Here That Won’t Be Bro­ken.” They may not be in time, though, to pre­vent Kol (guest star Nathaniel Bu­zolic) from be­ing used as a pawn by the en­emy. Re­bekah’s en­counter with Mar­cel (Charles Michael Davis) forces both of them to deal with their cur­rent sta­tus with each orher.

Gi­nor­mous Food / 8:00pm (Food Net) 3:00am (Food Net) The new episode “Tuc­son: Big­gest Or­ders on the Bor­der” finds Josh Denny in the Ari­zona city, on a quest to find some of the most mon­u­men­tal meals in the South­west. At Boca Tacos y Tequila, he tries the Ti­tanic Taco Dog, a five-pound taco piled high with cac­tus salsa, pinto beans and ba­con-wrapped hot dogs. The Burn Out, a six-pound burger served at Lindy’s on 4th, is topped with jalapenos and pep­per Jack cheese, then smoth­ered in chili.

Dark Mat­ter / 8:00pm (Syfy) In the af­ter­math of the Sea­son 2-end­ing de­struc­tion of the EOS 7 space sta­tion, the main char­ac­ters find them­selves sep­a­rated as Sea­son 3 opens with “Be­ing Bet­ter Is So Much Harder.” Two and Six (Melissa O’Neil, Roger Cross) are adrift in space aboard a dam­aged shut­tle, while Three (An­thony Lemke) is in cus­tody on a nearby aban­doned planet. Five and Truf­fault (Jodelle Fer­land, Tori Hig­gin­son) are on a de­stroyer that’s tar­geted by their cor­po­rate ri­vals. An­other new episode fol­lows.

Reign / 9:00pm (50) A prob­lem­atic birth threat­ens the lives of both Mary (Ade­laide Kane) and the child she in­tends to bear in the new episode “Blood in the Wa­ter.” El­iz­a­beth (Rachel Skarsten) is trou­bled to learn of the close prox­im­ity of some­one re­spon­si­ble for the death of a per­son she loved.
