To Tell the Truth / 8:00pm (7) David Ar­quette has known more than a bit about game shows lately, since he’s been an ex­ec­u­tive pro­ducer of — and fre­quent celebrity player on — “Celebrity Name Game.” He shows his met­tle at an­other con­test, one of tele­vi­sion’s most clas­sic, as a pan­elist in this episode. Tom Berg­eron, Sherri Shep­herd and Martha Plimp­ton (“The Real O’Neals”) are the oth­ers try­ing to guess which of three peo­ple is the in­di­vid­ual be­ing dis­cussed. 20/20: In an In­stant / 9:00pm (7) As the new sea­son of the se­ries about true sto­ries of sur­vival con­tinue, “De­liver Us From Evil” tells the story of a young wo­man who even­tu­ally es­caped from a Min­nesota cult and helped au­thor­i­ties gather enough ev­i­dence to ap­pre­hend the abu­sive leader. He was lo­cated through an in­ter­na­tional search. Hold­ing to the for­mula for this show, first-per­son com­men­tary from the ac­tual par­tic­i­pants is in­ter­wo­ven with drama­ti­za­tions of the events.

The Son / 9:00pm (AMC) 10:00pm (AMC) 3:00am (AMC) Sea­son 1 of this se­ries draws to a close with “Scalps,” which opens with a flash­back scene to 1849, as the tribe faces an un­ex­pected re­turn. As the ac­tion jumps to 1915, Eli’s (Pierce Bros­nan) plans for the fu­ture put Pete into a des­per­ately un­com­fort­able po­si­tion that in­volves a de­ci­sion that could prove to be lit­er­ally a mat­ter of life and death. Paola Nunez and Zahn McClarnon also star.
