20/20: In an Instant / 9:00pm (7) As the new season of the series about true stories of survival continue, “Deliver Us From Evil” tells the story of a young woman who eventually escaped from a Minnesota cult and helped authorities gather enough evidence to apprehend the abusive leader. He was located through an international search. Holding to the formula for this show, first-person commentary from the actual participants is interwoven with dramatizations of the events.

As the action jumps to 1915, Eli’s (Pierce Brosnan) plans for the future put Pete into a desperately uncomfortable position that involves a decision that could prove to be literally a matter of life and death. Paola Nunez and Zahn McClarnon also star.
