So You Think You Can Dance / 8:00pm (5) After last year’s round showcasing younger contenders, this series returns to its original approach as it starts its 14th season with “Los Angeles Auditions No. 1,” with very limber contestants between the ages of 18 and 30. The program has to prove its moves anew, now that the similar “World of Dance” also is on the air. Cat Deeley remains the host, and there’s another returnee: Mary Murphy, judging again with Nigel Lythgoe. Vanessa Hudgens joins that panel.
The Putin Interviews / 9:00pm (Showtime) 12:00am (Showtime) Not that this will come as news to most people, but Russia and its leader, Vladimir Putin, have been playing a key role in many major U.S. political headlines. This new four-part documentary series, airing over consecutive nights, finds Oscar-winning writer and filmmaker Oliver Stone in an extended interview with the Russian president, culled from conversations between the men over the course of two years.
Superhuman / 9:01pm (5) Of course, many television shows these days boast characters with amazing abilities — but this new reality competition showcases everyday people who deploy their remarkable traits in a quest to win a $50,000 grand prize. Host Kal Penn (“Designated Survivor”) leads the contest, premiering with “Beyond the Imagination,” as players take such senses as sight and smell to the extreme. Panelists include boxing legend Mike Tyson and actress-singer Christina Milian.
Scorpion / 10:00pm (13) The forecast is cloudy in more ways than one for the residents of an Irish village in “Sly and the Family Stone.” The “Sly” in this case is Sylvester (Ari Stidham), who’s overseas with the rest of Team Scorpion to mark one year since the passing of his beloved, and Walter’s (Elyes Gabel) sister, Megan.
Kal Penn hosts “Superhuman” Monday on Fox.
