The Washington Times Daily - - LIFE - HOLIDAY MATHIS

TODAY’S BIRTHDAY (June 12). Keep your goals away from the trolls and this solar return will favor you again and again! Exciting news will come in July. You’ll find the right partner for a project and soon have an entire group working around you. Travel in November and February has professional benefit. Your family will grow in more ways than one. Libra and Cancer adore you. Your lucky numbers are: 19, 3, 22, 7 and 40.

ARIES (March 21-April 19). Your optimism may cause you to believe the unbelievable or act in foolish faith. Better to reach and fail at heaven than to go on as if this were all there is. You know there’s more. You’ve glimpsed it. Try; learn; and try again.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20). You’ve been known to sum up the situation yourself to decide about the next move, authority notwithstanding. The traffic lights of life give you three colors, but the crossing is still up to you.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21). It’s no secret whom you love, but you would be hard-pressed to say why. You could come up with a few reasons, but all of them wouldn’t equal the sum of your love, with mysterious forces still unaccounted for.

CANCER (June 22-July 22). It seems rather obvious to you that you should spend time with people who reflect how you want to feel, though finding them isn’t quite so easy as you’d like it to be lately. You’ll probably have to take the lead in setting a desired tone.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). If the thing you do out of a sense of decorum (and most likely at no small effort and cost to you, at least emotionally) does not serve to keep the peace or satisfy the social agenda, you have to ask, “What am I doing it for?”

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). The hero of the story usually comes to a crucial scene in which he finds out who he really is. In real life, this isn’t a crucial scene; it’s a series of small moments that add up to tendencies that accumulate in a character portrait.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). Energies are contagious, especially today and most especially yours. Furthermore, you’ll be around particularly susceptible people, so the burden of responsibility will fall to you in regard to their mood.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). Many will take time to reflect on the motives and actions of others, while very few will afford their own actions and motives such reflection. This is where you’ll have an advantage to exploit.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). The person who doesn’t “want to talk about it” usually does. “Pay no attention to the … ” is a sentence that never works as stated. Try to focus exclusively on what you want and where you’re going.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). Strength and grace are often shown in the topics and point of view a person chooses and in the particular words, as well. In spite of what hurts, you’ll speak exclusively of happiness.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). You can’t learn less. Even if you forget the lesson or if some reversal of mind causes you to rebel against its teaching, to believe its opposite or to go numb to its imprint, you’re still changed by what you know.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). What if you asked for everything? What if you asked for far less than everything but more than the others have asked for? The former will be considered hyperbole, the latter greed. Go with the first option.
