NASCAR Racing / 7:00pm (4) The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series returns to Daytona, where the season began, with the Coke Zero 400. They’ll be going as fast as usual on the 2.5-mile tri-oval at Daytona International Speedway, only this race will be under the lights. Brad Keselowski won a close one last year and will be keeping an eye out for Dale Earnhardt Jr., a two-time winner of both this race as well as the Daytona 500.
Doubt / 8:00pm (13) Echoing the show’s title, Sadie (Katherine Heigl) develops doubts about Billy’s (Steven Pasquale) innocence when he gives a less than satisfactory response to fresh evidence against him in the new episode “Poison Prize,” Another case places the firm on the verge of a major controversy. Cameron and Tiffany’s (Laverne Cox, Dreama Walker) latest client is an allegedly thieving psychic. Guest stars include Lisa Ann Walter and Wilson Cruz. Dule Hill also stars.
MOVIE “Loving” / 8:00pm (HBO) 2:10am (HBO) Jeff Nichols’ 2016 historical drama didn’t blow the roof off the North American box office, but it earned glowing reviews for its moving account of how mixedrace couple Richard and Mildred Loving (Joel Edgerton, Ruth Negga) took their case to the Supreme Court after being held in violation of a Virginia law prohibiting interracial marriage. Both leads received Golden Globe nods for their performances; Negga also was nominated for an Oscar as best actress.
MOVIE “Get Hard” / 8:00pm (TNT) The differing comedic styles of Will Ferrell and Kevin Hart are the main sources of humor in this 2015 tale of a financial manager (Ferrell) being sent to prison for unethical practices. He decides he’d better toughen up before he gets there, so he seeks advice from a man (Hart) he presumes to be an ex-con — which turns out not to be the case, but they become allies anyway. Debuting director Etan Cohen co-wrote the script. Costars include Alison Brie.
