26 new eco-friendly buses entering service in the city
More than two-dozen new, ecofriendly buses are entering service in the District.
Mayor Muriel Bowser introduced the new D.C. Circulator buses on Tuesday.
The city said the buses are the first wave of D.C. Circulator buses that will use clean diesel technology to reduce emissions and improve reliability.
The office said the 26 buses will enter service this week. Officials said a second wave of 14 D.C. Circulator buses this fall will operate on battery-electric power.
