Beach Mur­der” / 9:00pm (HMM) Con­sign­ment shop owner Jen­nifer Shan­non (Lori Lough­lin) is skep­ti­cal that the drown­ing death of a client’s (Chiara Zanni) hus­band, an avid surfer, was an ac­ci­dent, es­pe­cially af­ter she no­tices lit­tle clues in the area near where the corpse washed up. Anne Win­ters, the client, tells Jen­nifer her late hubby had clashed with a lo­cal surf gang shortly be­fore he died. Ray Donovan / 9:00pm (Show­time) 11:00pm (Show­time) 2:00am (Show­time) Ray (Liev Schreiber) shifts his at­ten­tion back to Tin­sel­town and his fixer ser­vice for celebri­ties as this drama se­ries opens Sea­son 5. Among his new clients is me­dia mogul Sa­man­tha Winslow (Su­san Saran­don, be­gin­ning a sea­son-long guest arc), who wants Ray to find out whether her own team knows too much about her per­sonal af­fairs. On the home­front, Mickey (Jon Voight) is thrilled to re­gain a place in the Donovan fam­ily home and he vows to change his ways.

Ch­e­sa­peake Shores / 9:00pm (Hall­mark) In the Sea­son 2 premiere “Se­crets, Lies and School Sup­plies,” Trace (Jesse Met­calfe) rushes to his fa­ther’s side in the hos­pi­tal as soon as Abby (Meghan Ory) bails him out. For her part, Abby is still ad­just­ing to life back in her home­town and try­ing to de­cide when the time is right to in­tro­duce Trace to her two young daugh­ters. Else­where, her fa­ther, Mick (Treat Wil­liams), looks into de­vel­op­ing the O’Brien Trust. Bren­dan Penny and Bar­bara Niven also star.
