The lucky ones will have to deal with a new wrinkle, so to speak: In a long-overdue twist, this season tasks the designers with creating stunning designs for models ranging in size from 0 to 22.
Whose Line Is It Anyway? / 9:00pm (50) Tony Cavalero, of the television-series version of “School of Rock,” may get a fresh education in improv as a guest star in this new episode. He joins regular cast members Wayne Brady, Colin Mochrie and Ryan Stiles to turn suggestions from the studio audience into sketches and songs. Guest comedian Greg Proops also appears. First in Human / 9:00pm (Discovery) 11:02pm (Discovery) Emmy-winning filmmaker John Hoffman secured unprecedented access to the largest hospital in the world that’s devoted exclusively to research for this new documentary series. That’s Building 10 at the National Institute of Health, where a team of brilliant scientists conducts critical experiments, including testing new treatments on people for the very first time. Jim Parsons (“The Big Bang Theory”) is the series narrator.
The Guest Book / 10:30pm (TBS) 12:00am (TBS) The new “Story 3” stars Michaela Watkins (the Hulu sitcom “Casual”) as Phyllis, who is struggling to survive her husband’s agonizing weekend retreat with his boss (David Zayas, “Dexter”) and his much younger wife. Unexpected relief arrives in the form of Marcia (Stephnie Weir), who is fleeing a polygamous marriage. Kellie Martin, Charlie Robinson and Aloma Wright also star.
