The lucky ones will have to deal with a new wrin­kle, so to speak: In a long-over­due twist, this sea­son tasks the de­sign­ers with cre­at­ing stun­ning de­signs for mod­els rang­ing in size from 0 to 22.

Whose Line Is It Any­way? / 9:00pm (50) Tony Cavalero, of the tele­vi­sion-se­ries ver­sion of “School of Rock,” may get a fresh ed­u­ca­tion in im­prov as a guest star in this new episode. He joins reg­u­lar cast mem­bers Wayne Brady, Colin Mochrie and Ryan Stiles to turn sug­ges­tions from the stu­dio au­di­ence into sketches and songs. Guest co­me­dian Greg Proops also ap­pears. Aisha Tyler is the host. An­other episode fol­lows.

First in Human / 9:00pm (Dis­cov­ery) 11:02pm (Dis­cov­ery) Emmy-win­ning film­maker John Hoff­man se­cured un­prece­dented ac­cess to the largest hospi­tal in the world that’s de­voted ex­clu­sively to re­search for this new doc­u­men­tary se­ries. That’s Build­ing 10 at the Na­tional In­sti­tute of Health, where a team of bril­liant sci­en­tists con­ducts crit­i­cal ex­per­i­ments, in­clud­ing test­ing new treat­ments on peo­ple for the very first time. Jim Par­sons (“The Big Bang The­ory”) is the se­ries nar­ra­tor.

The Guest Book / 10:30pm (TBS) 12:00am (TBS) The new “Story 3” stars Michaela Watkins (the Hulu sit­com “Ca­sual”) as Phyl­lis, who is strug­gling to sur­vive her hus­band’s ag­o­niz­ing week­end re­treat with his boss (David Zayas, “Dex­ter”) and his much younger wife. Un­ex­pected re­lief ar­rives in the form of Marcia (Steph­nie Weir), who is flee­ing a polyg­a­mous mar­riage. Kel­lie Martin, Char­lie Robin­son and Aloma Wright also star.
