New case of diplo­mat hear­ing loss in Cuba raises ques­tions

TORONTO | The Cana­dian gov­ern­ment con­firmed that at least one of their diplo­mats in Cuba has been treated for hear­ing loss. Last year, U.S. diplo­mats in Ha­vana suf­fered se­vere hear­ing loss af­ter ex­po­sure to what of­fi­cials say was a covert sonic de­vice.
