In the series premiere, “Christmas Gift & Stolen Time,” a woman is delighted when her boyfriend gives her a camcorder until it leads to a moment of terror on a camping trip. Next, a young man comes to rue inheriting a gold pocket watch from his estranged father.
Room 104 / 11:30pm (HBO) 1:30am (HBO) In “Phoenix,” a new episode set in 1969, Joan (Amy Landecker, “Transparent”), the sole survivor of a plane crash, sits in the titular motel room trying to decide whether she should go back to the existence she had before the disaster or seize this unexpected opportunity to make a fresh start with her life.
