How­ever, a new land­lady (Erikka Bi­giou) who hap­pens to be Hugh’s for­mer flame makes things tough for the fam­ily — but even that has an even­tual up­side.

Fam­ily Guy / 9:00pm (5) Lois’ (voice of Alex Borstein) par­ents give her and Peter (voice of Seth MacFar­lane) pos­si­bly the great­est pos­si­ble gift — a nanny for the kids — in the new episode “Nanny Goats.” As a re­sult, the cou­ple gets time to recharge their mar­riage, though the op­por­tu­nity may have dif­fer­ent re­sults than ex­pected. Mae Whit­man (“Par­ent­hood”) and Sanaa Lathan (“Shots Fired”) sup­ply guest voices.

Shark Tank / 9:00pm (7) A def­i­nite sports in­flu­ence is ev­i­dent in this new episode, start­ing with baseball vet­eran Alex Ro­driguez’s pres­ence as a guest Shark. Among those on whose prod­ucts he must pass judg­ment is New Eng­land Pa­tri­ots star Rob Gronkowski, who has teamed with his broth­ers to mar­ket an in­su­lated sports bot­tle.

The Deuce / 9:00pm (HBO) 11:35pm (HBO) 2:10am (HBO) Vin­cent and Bobby (James Franco, Chris Bauer) take ac­tion as po­lice crack down on shady ac­tiv­ity in and around The Deuce at the end of the year in the new “Why Me?.” Candy (Mag­gie Gyl­len­haal) tries to con­vince Har­vey (David Krumholtz), her porn di­rec­tor, that she can do more than just “act.”

The Col­lec­tion on Mas­ter­piece / 10:00pm (22) 2:00am (22) 10:00pm (26.4) In the sec­ond episode of the new drama about the post-World War II fash­ion in­dus­try in Paris, Claude (Tom Ri­ley) tries to get him­self to­gether — via a trip to the coun­try — so that he can con­tinue his de­sign­ing ca­reer. Paul’s (Richard Coyle) past could im­pact his present dras­ti­cally un­less he can put it be­hind him for good.
