Crazy Ex-Girlfriend / 8:00pm (50)

If it’s risky to jilt someone at the altar, it’s downright foolhardy to do it to Rebecca (Rachel Bloom), as spelled out by the title of this third-season opener: “Josh’s Ex-Girlfriend Wants Revenge.” She’s determined to even the score with Josh (Vincent Rodriguez III), but the fact that he left her to become a priest may complicate things. Paula and Scott (Donna Lynne Champlin, guest star Steve Monroe) hit a marital snag.

Z Nation / 9:00pm (Syfy) 12:00am (Syfy) After Sun Mei and Red (Sydney Viengluang, Natalie Jongjaroenlarp) abruptly disappear without explanation, 10K (Nat Zang) and his fellow heroes are confronted with a difficult yet crucial decision: Do they abandon their friends and continue on their journey to Newmerica or mount a search for the two women, knowing that it could prove to be a time-wasting wild goose chase. Russell Hodgkinson and Kellita Smith also star.

The Exorcist / 9:01pm (5) The stories of the foster home and Tomas and Marcus (Alfonso Herrera, Ben Daniels) merge in the new episode “Unclean,” as the priests travel to Seattle to tackle the case of a possessed girl. Andy (John Cho) is concerned about his foster daughter’s (Amelie Eve, “When Calls The Heart”) agoraphobia. A woman (Zuleikha Robinson) who is trying to take on the demons by herself worries Father Bennett (Kurt Egyiawan). Brianna Hildebrand and Li Jun Li also star.

Marvel’s Inhumans / 9:01pm (7)

As the earthly hunt for Black Bolt (Anson Mount) continues, Medusa (Serinda Swan) makes considerable strides in finding him in the new episode “Make Way for ... Medusa.” Determined to maintain his control of Attilan, Maximus (Iwan Rheon) takes steps to try to ensure his ongoing reign. Henry Ian Cusick (“Lost”) continues his guest role.

Nat Zang stars in “Z Nation” Friday on Syfy.
