Randall, Doris King
On November 5, 2017, God calledDoris King Randall from our family midst as she took the hand of Jesus peacefully and quietly as she had lived. She was born November 13, 1927 in WinstonSalem, N.C. to the late Willie and Lillian Nash King. She attended the Public Schools of Forsyth County and was a graduate of Atkins High School. She obtained her registered nursing degree from Kate Bitting Reynolds School of Nursing in the City of Winston-Salem.
Doris was preceded in death by her husband George W. Randall, four sisters, Cornell Horton, Hattie Scales, Louise Wilson and Bernice Bess, ve brothers, Willie King Jr., Bob King, Harold King James King and Ralph King.
She leaves not to mourn but to cherish her memories, her loving sister Anna K. Tarrant of Winston-Salem, NC, a host of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, who will miss her with all their hearts.
Her love reached beyond her immediate family and community, she will always be remembered as a beautiful and loving spirit watching over us.
Homegoing services will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at Pinckney-Spangler Funeral Home, 524 8th Street, NE, Washington, DC 20002. Viewing will begin promptly at 9:00, services at 10:00.
