● 41 per­cent of U.S. vot­ers say the House of Rep­re­sen­ta­tives should not be­gin im­peach­ment pro­ceed­ings against Pres­i­dent Trump; 74 per­cent of Repub­li­cans, 44 per­cent of in­de­pen­dents and 11 per­cent of Democrats agree.

● 47 per­cent of men and 36 per­cent of women also agree.

● 40 per­cent over­all say im­peach­ment pro­ceed­ings should be­gin; 14 per­cent of Repub­li­cans, 36 per­cent of in­de­pen­dents and 66 per­cent of Democrats agree.

● 36 per­cent of men and 43 per­cent of women also agree.

● 19 per­cent over­all are un­sure: 12 per­cent of Repub­li­cans, 19 per­cent of in­de­pen­dents and 23 per­cent of Democrats agree.

● 17 per­cent of men and 21 per­cent of women also agree.
