Fractured granite

The Washington Times Weekly - - Letters To The Editor -

Regarding “Deepening cracks on Tomb of the Unknowns create dilemma” (Aug. 14 edition): The strength of granite is in the integrity of its structure, and the cracks in the tombarean ironic representationofthecracks that have fractured the integrity of the nation these unknown soldiers gave their life to defend. Leave the tomb alone. The fractured granite will out live our fractured nation. Patrick Weir Chatsworth, California
