Choose Joe

The Washington Times Weekly - - Letters To The Editor -

Inreference to the article “Lieberman loses Democrat primary” (Aug. 14 edition): Since the left kook fringe took over the Democrat Party, themature voters of theHarryTruman and JFK sentiments will probably look elsewhere for comfort in the fall elections.

The safety of the nation and the American people are much too important to place in the hands of Ned Lamont, a wealthy politician who lacks in-depth experience in diplomacy and the finesse needed when dealing with an unfriendly United Nations made up of incompetent and corrupt foreign civil service employees.

With Joe Lieberman running as an independent candidate, I believe the good people of Connecticut will realize that this is not the time to change horses in midstream, with a global war on terrorism in progress and perilous nukes on the horizon in the hands of unscrupulous dictators seeking attention.
