Bosnia comparison

The Washington Times Weekly - - Letters To The Editor -

After reading about Retired CIA officer Michael F. Scheuer’s comments in a letter to the American Conservative magazine (quoted in “Inside Politics” Oct. 16 edition) my blood has gone from quickly simmering to a boil.

Bill Clinton had several opportunities to take out Osama bin Laden and, bottom line, he chose not to.

And yet, Mr. Scheuer references the “United States Air Force dropping tons of bombs on the Serbs. . .” Oh yes, I forgot about that “war.” Forgive me, as I am merely a stay at home mom, but why were we fighting in Bosnia? Oh, to take out an evil dictator. Hmmm. . . that sounds familiar. And how long were our troops there? Wait! Are our troops still there? And we should start redeploying from Iraq by the end of this year?

Why has no one in the mainstream media made this comparison? Oh yes, that’s right. They’re all a bunch of cut and run liberals. Cathy Oxley Flower Mound, Texas
