The nation’s top radio broadcaster and commentator didn’t disappoint his Washington-area faithful, opening his two-hour act with a hilarious joke about an elevator encounter with a frustrated Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, New York Democrat. (Call us and we’ll tell you the punch line.)
On Nov. 15, Mr. Limbaugh was the dinner guest of Vice President Dick Cheney at the vice president’s mansion in Northwest. The host shared a table with, among others, White House senior aide Karl Rove and Republican strategist and bookseller Mary Matalin.
And yes, that was soon-to-becrowned House Majority Leader Nancy Pelosi that Mr. Limbaugh
