Europe’s opinions

The Washington Times Weekly - - Letters To The Editor - Patricia S. Broderick Mooresville, North Carolina

What part of “enemy” does Adm. William J. Fallon not understand? (“China sub secretly stalked U.S. fleet,” Nov. 20 edition) The Chinese are our enemy. They do not wish us good. They are in the process of cornering the power in the Pacific if Adm. Fallon is allowed his deadly foolishness. Adm. Fallon’s duty is to keep America safe, not to play footsie with the Chinese military. Such naivete coming from the highest ranks of our military is frightening.

Look at it this way. The inscrutable Chinese are smiling at the weakening of the United States, all the while engaged in a rapid build up of a quality military paid for by Americans buying Chinese goods. The irony is not lost on them.
