Read the Koran

The Washington Times Weekly - - Letters To The Editor - Bob Baker Mercer Island, Washington

C.J. Olsen of Port Townsend, Washington asked “What would Mohammed do?” (Letters to the editor, Dec. 4 edition) Every American needs to do what I did the day after 9/11: Buy and read a copy of the Koran.

In it, you will read, “Say to those who disbelieve: You shall be vanquished; and driven together to hell; and evil is the resting place.” (Surah III, para. 12). And this, “I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them.” (Surah VIII, para. 12). We do not understand Islam at our peril. Wake up, America. The threat is real.
