Serious addiction

The Washington Times Weekly - - Letters To The Editor -

A front-page story in your July 23 edition reported that marijuana cultivation on public land in the U.S. is a multibillion-dollar business run by Mexican drug cartels and U.S.based street gangs. It was stated that during the week-long “Operation Alesia” marijuana eradication initiative, 17 federal, state and local law-enforcement agencies plus the Sheriff’s Office and the California National Guard met on the problem.

The real problem is the existence of 17 agencies all involved in one effort. Enough said. Bob LeBlanc Tulsa, Oklahoma
