Road not closed

The Washington Times Weekly - - Letters To The Editor -

If the people of Minnesota would have been “on the ball,” the minute the I-35 bridge over the Mississippi River collapsed, they would have changed the name of the river at that location from “Mississippi” to “Rio Grande.”

President Bush and the Congress would have the 10-lane replacement bridge, now only a proposal on the drawing boards, already up and in service. Problem is, it would have nine northbound and only one southbound lanes. Mike Regan North Mankato, Minnesota
