The Lynde and Harry Bradley Foun­da­tion an­nounced April 29 that one of four 2008 Bradley Prizes will be awarded to Robert L. Wood­son Sr.

Mr. Wood­son is founder and pres­i­dent of the Cen­ter for Neigh­bor­hood En­ter­prise, a non­profit, non­par­ti­san re­search and demon­stra­tion or­ga­ni­za­tion that sup- ports neigh­bor­hood-based ini­tia­tives to re­duce crime and vi­o­lence, re­store fam­i­lies, cre­ate eco­nomic en­ter­prise and em­ploy­ment, and re­vi­tal­ize low­in­come com­mu­ni­ties.

Mr. Wood­son will be pre­sented the award dur­ing a cer­e­mony at the Kennedy Cen­ter on June 4. Each award car­ries a stipend of $250,000.
