Re: John Hagee’s Com­men­tary piece in the May 5 edi­tion ti­tled “Thank you, Pope Bene­dict” (page 33), thanks for the ku­dos from Pas­tor Hagee for the re­marks from Pope Bene­dict that we should “never again have a holo­caust” in which over six mil­lion Jews died.

How­ever, where were his ku­dos for Pope Bene­dict’s con­tin­ued stand that never again should we have an Amer­i­can holo­caust wherein far more in­no­cents were bru­tally slaugh­tered than in the holo­caust of World War II? Robert E. Barfield Amar­illo, Texas
