Great call

The Washington Times Weekly - - Letters To The Editor -

I find it truly incredible that the liberals in this country are upset with Elizabeth Edwards because she decided to remain silent while knowing that John Edwards, her repulsive husband and presidential hopeful was having an affair. Wasn’t it just 10 years ago that we had another woman remain silent while her husband was having one of his many affairs and she was being hailed as a brilliant woman for “standing by her man”?

Of course in that case Hillary Clinton not only knew exactly what was going on since she had seen many years of Bill’s behavior, but then also lied about it and made the accusation that it was a “vast rightwing conspiracy.” It’s quite a party that those liberals belong to: Torment the woman with cancer while protecting the woman that only lies when she opens her mouth.

On another topic, it will be very interesting to see how the liberal feminists respond to the selection of Sarah Palin as John McCain’s running mate. As a man who has always told my daughters that they are capable of being whatever they want to be, women everywhere should be thrilled with this selection, especially the liberal feminists. But I suspect that Mrs. Palin has one very fatal flaw in that she is pro-life, and therefore will be a totally unacceptable choice. In other words, it will become completely obvious to everyone that the liberal feminists care about one issue and one issue only: abortion on demand.

As for me, I believe Sarah Palin is a fabulous choice for Republicans and for the first time this year I will be contributing to the Republican Party.
