Attack dogs howl

The Washington Times Weekly - - Letters To The Editor -

The so-called women libbers (what a joke), sexist males, the mainstream-media-talking-heads and left-leaning liberals across the country have set their sights on the best candidate for vice president to come down the pike in my lifetime and that’s a bunch of years.

Nothing is off limits to these vultures be it spouse, children, hair style or anything else no matter how trivial that they can get their big beaks into. How some of these second-string nonachievers have the audacity to question her commitment to the care of her five children is a mystery for the ages. Seems Nancy Pelosi has five kids too but, hey, she’s a liberal so her kids and her commitment to them are off limits to the vultures as are Barack Obama’s kids.

A legitimate argument targeting Mrs. Palin’s inexperience on the national level is fair game. So what about that “inexperience.” Well actually she has had more executive experience than Mr. Obama and Joe Biden put together. As for Mr. Obama’s record in Illinois and during his short time in the U.S. Senate, it’s abysmal. He has accomplished virtually nothing, probably because he stands for nothing save socialism.

If God forbid Mr. Obama becomes president I hope the folks who voted for him will be happy with the brand new slew of bureaucracies he’s promised along with the taxes to pay for them. By all accounts this will be a close race and the main reason it’s close at all can be attributed to the major media outlets employing the use of opinionated commentary as hard news to foster their poisonous and continuous personal attacks on Senator McCain and now Gov. Palin.

In John McCain we have a candidate who both in commitment and experience is exceptionally qualified to be Commander in Chief. Barack Obama simply does not compare. And if the liberal media’s dire heartbeat scenario were to take place I would sooner trust Sarah Palin as president right now than either man on the Democratic ticket.
