Fresh air for voters

The Washington Times Weekly - - Letters To The Editor -

I enjoyed your September 8 edition almost as much as I did Sarah Palin’s speech at the Republican Convention. What a breath of fresh air into a very muggy atmosphere. I can now vote for the McCain—Palin ticket without holding my Republican nose. This is a first for an Arizona Republican who has voted for John McCain consistently with one hand for the feller and the other for the smeller.

As for her lack of experience, I would vote for Mrs. Palin today for president if that were an option. Her executive experience is measurably greater than that of either of the nominees. Hopefully I’ll get the chance to vote that way in four years. Ed Cottingham Hereford, Arizona
