Character trumps experience

The Washington Times Weekly - - Letters To The Editor -

Last night, as I was watching a program about Ronald Reagan, it dawned on me: Other than being an actor, all Ronald Reagan brought to the Oval Office was the fact he had been the governor of a state. Yet, with no more foreign experience than that, he ended the Cold War without firing a shot. Pretty good for not having any foreign experience.

Sarah Palin has all she needs to do a great job. If John McCain will let Sarah be Sarah the Democrats will not stand a chance. Rip Gorman Burdett, Kansas
