Prop­ping up fail­ure

It is said that $600 bil­lion went out of the econ­omy due to the Septem­ber 11 at­tack. It caused a slow­down, but the coun­try weath­ered it and came through. Now with a $700 bil­lion loss we are on the verge of panic. I am not just a lit­tle sus­pi­cious about the need to save com­pa­nies with in­com­pe­tent lead­er­ship.
