Night is closing in

The Washington Times Weekly - - Letters To The Editor -

The skies are closing on America’s economic system. Darkness will soon prevail. Our beloved free enterprise economic system is being purposely destroyed by collectivists who now run the government.

The Obama administration is anti-capitalist. It will declare that the failure is a fault of the free enterprise system while it was actually government interference by Democrat liberals which caused the housing crisis beginning with Jimmy Carter, then Bill Clinton, followed by the 2006 Democrat Congress. We are witnessing the nationalization of our banks and auto industries. Who will be next? These control freaks are looking into every corner of our lives to find tax money to fund their government kingdoms.

We knew that President Obama knew nothing about economics as part of individual freedom and we knew he was anti-capitalist by the company he kept throughout his college years and beyond. We knew he came out of the corrupt Chicago Democrat party machine.

We know that when America fails economically, the world fails. All socialist governments are not totalitarian, but all totalitarian governments are socialists. Socialism is a very cruel camel to allow under our tent. Collectivism is hardest on the poor, immoral, and lowers everyone’s living standard. It is the individual in his pursuit of happiness who raises us all to higher levels both economically and morally.
