Integrity no more

The Washington Times Weekly - - Letters To The Editor -

What is wrong with a government when a U.S. Senator, Mary Landrieu, Louisiana Democrat, brags about selling her vote for $300,000,000? What does this say about corruption in government? The prostitute that was servicing Eliot Spitzer charged $4,000 per visit. She would need to have 75,000 visits to reach that kind of money.

The arrogance of this government is overwhelming. They push legislation that no one wants. They pass the same legislation in the dead of night, while no one is watching. The legislation is voluminous and full of pork. They know that the people don’t want Obamacare and they are pushing it through anyhow.

Whatever happened to government serving the people? Keith C. De Filippis San Jose, California
