Who will save us from this misery?

The Washington Times Weekly - - Letters To The Editor -

President Obama presides over an unelected shadow government comprised of stoneheaded leftist academics with an anti-capitalist agenda. Sadly for our beloved nation this is all exploding at a time when we are so desperately in need of Leadership, with a capital “L”.

These bozos are reminiscent of the characters in the classic movie, starring Jack Nicholson, “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest”. I doubt if Electric Shock Therapy would help these Chairman Mao-like looney tunes. The Republican presidential hopefuls sensing Mr. Obama’s slipping over the psychological edge are lining up to oust this badly botched presidency. Some of these candidates are thoughtful and patriotic but not one candidate has arrived on a white stallion wearing a white hat like Ronald Reagan.

Thinking Americans should be doubly concerned when the agnostic New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman prayed to the Lord that our messianic president gets lucky in the Middle East. I for one am shaking in my boots. For our country’s sake I hope Mr. Friedman’s prayers are answered. Cecil Johnson Williamsburg, Virginia
