The most concealed president in this country’s history?

The Washington Times Weekly - - Letters To The Editor -

Saying the released long-form document should end the President Obama birth issue is indicative of press bias and the failure of investigative reporting in this country. After waiting three years regarding this simple request, Mr. Obama has delayed past the point of credibility.

Already, many defects have been pointed out in the released document. For instance, the Kapi’olani Maternity & Gynecological Hospital, which is the hospital listed on the president’s birth certificate, didn’t even exist in 1961. It didn’t come into existence until 1978.

The media says that most of the doubters are Republicans. Yet, Republicans are avoiding this issue like it was the third rail. It is independents, with open and inquiring minds who are insisting on truth and fact finding which, unfortunately are lacking in today’s media.

Racial motives are often mentioned but it is the media who treats Mr. Obama as a black man who must be handled with kid gloves and no personal criticism. Open-minded individu- als who believe in American traditions see him as a politician who deserves personal scrutiny. He did get a large percentage of independent, white votes.

The concealment of critical documentation in Mr. Obama’s life should raise the concern and investigative powers of any responsible, unbiased, professional journalist. Many of us would like to read his Columbia thesis, Harvard Law School records, Harvard Law Review articles and University of Chicago articles. But they are kept hidden from the public along with his passport records, kindergarten records, Punahou school records, Occidental College records, Illinois State Bar Association records, Illinois State Senate records and schedules, medical records, Obama/Dunham marriage license, Obama/Dunham divorce documents, Soetoro/Dunham marriage license and adoption records. It doesn’t pass the smell test. John G Williams Barnsboro, New Jersey
