Snatching bumble from the jaws of competence

The Washington Times Weekly - - Letters To The Editor -

The removal of Osama bin Laden should have been a simple announcement. Whoever is in charge of the presidential press office doesn’t seem to have a grasp of public relations. A simple message would have done the job.

That didn’t happen and numerous people have been making conflicting statements. The informa- tion about the computers and computer files should have never been released. Whether pictures of the body are released and burial at sea are judgment calls. These have no real bearing on the case. If the intent of the White House is to confuse the public it is working. Keith C. De Filippis San Jose, California
