Media Research Center business and culture analyst Dan Gainor has fired off round two in a four-part volley against liberal billionaire George Soros, who spent $48 million in recent years funding media properties, journalism schools and industry organizations. Mr. Gainor established that Mr. Soros has clear connections to NBC, ABC, the New York Times and The Washington Post. But he also funds the National Federation of Community Broadcasters, the National Association of Hispanic Journalists and the Committee to Protect Journalists. See the report here:

“Readers unhappy with Soros’ media influence might be tempted to voice concerns to the Organization of News Ombudsmen — a professional group devoted to ‘monitoring accuracy, fairness and balance.’ Perhaps a direct complaint to one such as National Public Radio’s Alicia Shepard or PBS’ Michael Getler, both directors of the organization. Unfortunately, that group is also funded by Soros,” Mr. Gainor observes.
