Just as he wants it to be

The Washington Times Weekly - - Letters To The Editor -

Remember when Bill Clinton wouldn’t get out of bed before checking the polls? Barack Obama makes Mr. Clinton look like an amateur. Mr. Obama doesn’t bother to show up unless the polls go down. Most of his staff keep beating him off of the golf course with a big stick to make him engage.

It’s said that he’s just calm, cool, and unflappable; he’s presidential. Personally, I think he’s bored, disinterested and incapable of leading; and that’s dereliction of duty. No leader calmly stands by and watches his country burn. No leader does nothing as unemployment continues to rise. No leader spends more while the country goes financially belly up.

How degrading to have China lecture us that our spending is out of control; to have the S&P threaten to lower our credit rating; and a public that keeps screaming “stop the spending” and “we want our country back”. Nothing seems to affect Barack Obama on any level.

You don’t suppose that he feels the need for division, dependence, chaos, confusion and fear before he can accomplish real American transformation? Perhaps you stay calm when plans are actually on schedule with your agenda.

But Barack Obama doesn’t have the only set of keys to the Oval Office. He has Richard Trumpka of the AFL-CIO, Andy Stern, former head of the SEIU and now an economic advisor. He has George Soros and his billions funneled into every socialist organization he can invent. He has the mainstream media running interference, and the Black Panthers as his intimidation squad. Oh, and don’t forget his former employer, ACORN.

This administration is perhaps the most radical, convoluted, destructive co-presidency this country has ever seen. We have a man who has dedicated himself to a destructive agenda, changing a nation to satisfy himself and his cronies. He loves living large on our dime. What a sweet deal, this presidency. Judith Osha Syracuse, Indiana
