Misgivings about Mitt

The Washington Times Weekly - - Letters To The Editor -

If Mitt Romney gets nominated, I’ll vote for him in preference to President Obama, but have already notified his people that it would be under protest. I recently learned that Mr. Romney actually believes in so-called global warming (or “climate change”), and if he has been taken in by that, I have a considerably lessened opinion of him. Doesn’t he ever read the other side of this politically-charged matter? Doesn’t he realize that it is all a big leftist hoax? Until he renounces this belief, I am not supporting his candidacy.

Apart from that, I would be very unhappy if he were to win and then went along with the capand-trade business and even the UN Law of the Sea Treaty. These could all be disastrous for this country. Please, Mr. Romney, do some studying, and expunge your brain of these environmental delusions. The eco-nuts are ruining our country. Mildred K. Henderson Lancaster, Pennsylvania
