Anything to stay

The Washington Times Weekly - - Letters To The Editor - Billy Glenn

Suddenly, just days before the election, the unemployment rate and the economy are improving. Is this another embellishment of facts issued by the White House? With this administration at election time it is hard to determine. This country will take decades to recover from what the president has done during his first term and Katie bar the door if he is reelected for four more years.

It appears that the president will do or say anything to get reelected, be it fact or fiction. One thing he can get credit for, he is this nation’s greatest gun and snake oil salesman.

It is hard to understand how so many people are being fooled by this administration. Abraham Lincoln said, “It is true that you may fool all of the people some of the time; you can even fool some of the people all of the time; but you can’t fool all of the people all of the time.” All one has to do is watch the news to see how much trouble this country is in.

The people of this country must wake up and vote in a new administration if this country is going to survive.
