77 per­cent of Amer­i­cans agree that “too many peo­ple are afraid to say what they really think.”

66 per­cent agree that “ev­ery­day Amer­i­cans understand what the gov­ern­ment should do bet­ter than the so-called ex­perts.”

53 per­cent say Amer­ica’s cul­ture has “changed for the worse” since the 1950s. 49 per­cent say Amer­ica’s best days are “be­hind us.” 49 per­cent say Amer­ica’s best days “are in front of us.” 48 per­cent are “both­ered” when they en­counter im­mi­grants who speak lit­tle or no English.
