Drop investigation now

The Washington Times Weekly - - Letters To The Editor - STEPHEN PHILLIPS Decatur, Alabama

The Mueller investigation needs to stop. Its original purpose has been proven false by the Mueller team itself. This is no longer an investigation, but now a full-blown soft coup into undermining an elected president because the Washington establishment didn’t like our vote.

Why is it so much easier to get a special counsel to investigate a Republican who has done nothing wrong than it is to investigate Democrats who have mountains of evidence against them?

This soft coup threatens not only the president, but what little is left of the rule of law after the Obama-and-Hillary cronies have stomped all over it.

I believe Robert Mueller himself is complicit in the Uranium One scandal. Basically, continuing this special counsel is telling the 60-plus million of us who voted for the president that we don’t matter. It is absolutely disgusting.
