The Week (US) - - 22 Arts - By Robin Sloan

Robin Sloan’s “oddly delectable” second novel reads like a fable, said Elizabeth Hand in The Washington Post. Lois Clary is an overworked young San Francisco robotics engineer who inherits a crock of sourdough starter from her favorite soup shop. When she starts baking the bread herself, its magical qualities open doors and connect her to a utopian farmers market that allows Sloan to have delicious fun with Silicon Valley’s obsessions. “My only mild disappointment was that I couldn’t eat my copy.”
