Membership Drive

The Friends of Bella Vista Library are holding their annual membership drive. Throughout March, a Friend will be at the front of the library. Memberships are $10 for an individual and $25 for a family. All new members get a 50-percent-off coupon for Encore Books.

Pokemon Club

If you love Pokemon, come battle and trade cards at the Bella Vista Public Library. This group meets at 10:30 a.m. on the fourth Saturday of the month. Ages 6-11.

Poetry Class

This class is designed to showcase the power of poetry and teach young minds how to concoct their own poetic verses. The class is Tuesday mornings at 10 a.m., ages 8-13. Register for this event at the front desk or at bvpl.org.

Young Readers

This children’s book club is perfect for readers in grades 3-5. They meet at 4 p.m. on the second and fourth Monday of the month and are always excited to welcome new members.

Knitters & Crocheters

Knitter and crocheter wannabes are invited to brush up on their skills and learn some new techniques from 1 to 3 p.m. every Tuesday. Novices will be guided by experienced knitters and crocheters. Bring your current projects or start a new one. Attendees must bring their own supplies.

Foreign Policy Group

Members are sought for a monthly foreign policy discussion group that will meet at the library. The group will choose topics from “The Great Decisions” publication available at fpa.org. For more information, call Bob and Nancy Brown, 479-855-3729, or Mike Stenson, 479-855-0299.

Hours of Operation

Regular library hours are 9 a.m.8 p.m. Monday-Thursday, and 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The Bella Vista Public Library is located just east of Town Center off Lancashire Boulevard, (Arkansas Highway 340 east of Town Center, turn at Bella Vista Baptist Church) at 11 Dickens Place.
