How to pro­tect self is topic of sem­i­nar

A free risk-pre­ven­tion sem­i­nar ti­tled, “What’s Creep­ing?” will be pre­sented at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 26 at North­west Arkansas Com­mu­nity Col­lege.

Par­tic­i­pants are in­vited to get ready to pro­tect them­selves dur­ing the up­com­ing hol­i­day sea­son. At the end of the evening, par­tic­i­pants should have a gen­eral un­der­stand­ing of char­ac­ter­is­tics of the lurk­ing and creep­ing dan­gers, how to pro­tect them­selves and/or their busi­ness, and what to do if their pri­vate in­for­ma­tion is com­pro­mised.

The pre­sen­ta­tion by Jon Pas­coe, direc­tor of pri­vacy risk man­age­ment for Ar­vest Bank and its af­fil­i­ates, is spon­sored by Ar­vest Bank and hosted by the NWACC Foun­da­tion. It will be­gin at 5:30 p.m. in Peter­son Au­di­to­rium of the Shew­maker Cen­ter for Global Busi­ness De­vel­op­ment.
