Ozark His­tory. Young will dis­cuss the lo­cal his­tory of the world­wide fra­ter­nal or­ga­ni­za­tion known as the In­de­pen­dent Or­der of Odd Fel­lows.

Make a bird feeder

Kids of all ages are in­vited to make and take a pine cone bird feeder at the Shiloh Mu­seum of Ozark His­tory from 10 to 11 a.m. Satur­day, Oct. 20. The pro­gram is part of the mu­seum’s Shiloh Satur­day se­ries for fam­i­lies.

Old-time singing school

The North­west Arkansas Sa­cred Harp Singers will hold an old­time gospel singing school at the Shiloh Meet­ing Hall in down­town Spring­dale from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Fri­day, Oct. 26. The school will be taught by Matt Bell of Mem­phis, Tenn. The singing school will be fol­lowed with an old-fash­ioned singing con­ven­tion from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Satur­day, Oct. 27. A potluck din­ner will be served at noon. All ac­tiv­i­ties are free. Regis­tra­tion is not re­quired. The Shiloh Meet­ing Hall is lo­cated at 121 W.
